UKE (block) WAZA

  1. Soto uchi uke
  2. Soto (outside/inside forearm) uke

ATE (strike) WAZA

  • Shomen tsuki (from heiko-dachi and shiko dachi)
  • Shita-tsuki (back knuckles) from shiko dachi with single knuckle (Nakadaka-ippon-ken)
  • Shuto (swinging knife hand) uchi
  • Haito (ridge hand) uchi

HIJI (elbow) ATE:

  • Mae (front)

  • Ushiro (back)

URA (back fist) UCHI

  • Mae jodan (front, face)

  • Kinteki geri (groin instep)
  • Mae (front ball-of-foot) geri
  • Yoko (round/side ball-of-foot) geri

  • Hiza (knee) ate
  • Ushiro kinteki geri (kinteki geri to rear direction)
  • Ushiro (rear) kinteki (groin) geri

Koza (crossing feet) Tsuki Dachi

  • Koza tsuki chudan (middle)
  • Koza tsuki jodan (upper)

Neko Ashi (Cat) Dachi (for geri)

  • Tenshin (moving backward and forward)
  • Tsugi-ashi (shuffle step back foot moves first) and Okuri ashi (shuffle step front foot moves first)

 "T"-ji-Dachi (for geri)

  • Tenshin (moving all directions)

 

YAKUSOKU KUMITE (set sparring)

 

Ganmen-tsuki: ZENKUTSU dachi no tsuki (defending upper lunge punch, zenkutsu dachi attack)

1. Uchi uke suigetsu (solar plexus) tsuki
2. Soto uke wakido tsuki
3. Kawashi (evasive) tsuki yoko geri
4. Suriage (upward sliding palm block) furi uchi (hooking strike)
5. Uchi uke shuto uchi
6. Harai uke ura (reverse) uchi
7. Nodoate ashi (pulling/grabbing) kake nage (hook throw) fumi geri


Fukubu-Tsuki: SHIKO DACHI no tsuki (defending middle lunge punch, shiko dachi attack)

1. Soto uke wakido (side) tsuki
2. Uchi uke ganmen tsuki (straight punch to face)
3. Osae (hand-pressing) uke furi uchi
4. Shomen uke ude giaku kansetsu tori
5. Soe uke (reinforced block) kansetsu geri
6. Age uke mae geri
7. Harai otoshi (downward) yotsui kime (defending mae geri)
